1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Forgotten Acre, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Use of the app after any Terms update constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Forgotten Acre is a mobile application for capturing, organizing, and searching photos and notes related to agricultural operations. Features include camera capture, folder organization, OCR-powered search, GPS tagging, cloud sync, and an iOS lock screen widget.
3. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address and password to use Forgotten Acre. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. RimpTech LLC is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials. One account per person.
4. Subscription & Payments
Full access requires a paid subscription ($49/year or $5/month) after the 14-day free trial. Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice. The 60-day money-back guarantee applies to annual subscribers only, from the date of first charge.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload, store, or transmit illegal content or content infringing third-party rights. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its backend systems. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create and store in Forgotten Acre. By using the service, you grant RimpTech LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
7. Termination
RimpTech LLC may terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms with notice. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon termination, data deletion follows the timeline in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
Forgotten Acre is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. OCR results are generated by Google Cloud Vision API and may not be 100% accurate. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RimpTech LLC’s total liability for any claim related to this service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nebraska.
